Exhibition of Pino Boschetti, the painter who gives voice to Romagna with his visual dialect

Romagna celebrates the art of Pino Boschetti, a painter who has captured the soul of his territory through a unique visual and dialectal language. The exhibition "Pino Boschetti. Painting in Dialect," inaugurated on August 3rd at the Palazzo del Fulgor – Fellini Museum in Rimini, represents a tribute to this artist from Santarcangelo who has immortalized the daily life and landscapes of Romagna. Boschetti, self-taught and an observer of reality, has created works that express a deep connection with local culture, capturing moments of life that reflect the identity and spirit of his land.

The exhibition includes 92 oil paintings and 30 drawings, many of which have never been seen before, offering a journey through the corners and crossroads of Santarcangelo, transfigured through the artist's imaginative gaze. These works, rich in details and personal poetics, narrate the vibrancy and beauty of village life, capturing gestures and movements with a precision that borders on visual poetry. Boschetti's bond with Romagna is profound, and his art has often been compared to the "Santarcangelo School of Poetry," which includes illustrious names such as Tonino Guerra and Raffaello Baldini. In this exhibition too, Boschetti's works dialogue with poetry, thanks to the reading of texts by these poets during the exhibition. The projections and performances accompanying the exhibition amplify the visual experience, creating a bridge between word and image.

The choice of Palazzo del Fulgor as the exhibition venue adds another layer of meaning to the event. This iconic place, linked to director Federico Fellini, underscores the importance of visual storytelling, offering visitors an immersion into Boschetti's poetic and visual world. The exhibition, part of the "Border Languages" project, will be open until October 20th and offers a unique opportunity to rediscover an artist who has made the everyday life of Romagna universal through art.
